Antonia Tyz Peeples

     Antonia Peeples is a Connecticut native. She was raised in an artistic environment.  Her mother was a painter and her father a photographer.  She attended Eastern Connecticut State University and Silvermine Guild of Art in New Canaan, Connecticut.  Antonia is a previous member of Mystic Art Association, South County Art Association,Wickford Art Association and a current artist member of Cape Cod Art Association.  She has participated in many juried shows and has won several awards throughout the past 20 years. Her work is in collections in the New England area including Quidnessey Country Club, murals in Westerly Hospital and Rhode Island Children's Hospital. She has taught art classes to children and adults for over 10 years in both drawing and painting. She has become versatile through experimentation in different mediums, but prefers to work in oil paint and pastel.
