Wolfgang Zelmer
 

   
 
 
 
     Wolfgang Zelmer was born in Munich in 1948.  He studied painting and etching ant he Hampstead School of Arts in Londson and the Academie Julien in Paris. Between 1972 and 1982 he traveled frequently, and for longer periods of time, to Italy where the style of the Old Masters became an increasingly important influence on his work.
